About the trainer - ORLANDO CHIARELLO

Orlando Chiarello is the Chairman of the ASD Simplified Technical English Maintenance Group (STEMG), responsible for the development and maintenance of the ASD-STE100 Specification.

He joined Secondo Mona in 1975 starting his career in the Quality Department. In 1982, he moved as a technical author to the Technical Publications Department where he has been working for almost ten years with the task of translating and producing maintenance manuals. In the early Nineties he was appointed as ILS Manager and then, in 1998, as Product Support Manager, currently responsible for the aftermarket support of the company products.

Orlando Chiarello has been involved in the AECMA Simplified English project since the very beginning (1983), participating to the AIAD (The Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defense and Security) Documentation Working Group and to the national Simplified English Working Group.

In 1996, he was nominated by AIAD as the STE National Coordinator and joined the ASD STEMG where he was appointed as Vice-Chairman, in 2000, and finally Chairman in April 2007. He is also a member of the ASD Product Support Group (PSG).
