Using the latest Computer Aided Translation (CAT) and Translation Memory (TM) technologies to ensure consistency, cost reduction and shorted time-to-market, we offer professional, high quality translation from, and into a wide range of languages across a variety of industries and sectors.

Our Translation Process

Infrastructure

We believe in long-term relationships with our clients. Accordingly, we create an infrastructure tailor-made for that client, which can be used again and again and which paves the way for consistent translation quality.

Translation Memory

For new customers who do not yet have a Translation Memory on file, we offer a preparatory, one-time step to build a TM from acceptable translations that you have done in the past. We then leverage these existing translations with advanced technology. This TM is used as a database of your commonly used words, terms and phrases for use in future projects to reduce time and costs.

After building the Translation Memory, we use advanced tools to analyze and compare the content of the client’s documentation with the existing TM. This provides us with an accurate categorization of:

• New words for translation
• Words with a partial match
• Words with complete match to the TM

Our quotation is based on this analysis.

You do not have to waste time finding the difference between your old and new document. Simply send us the updated English version and we will do the rest of the job using our advanced technology.

Resources

At this stage we assemble our team of translators trained and qualified in the specific subject required. For example, if you need to translate medical content for Argentina, we provide medical translators certified in South American Spanish.

Glossary

We then prepare a glossary of technical terms and phrases. This glossary is submitted for your approval.

Translation

This stage is controlled by an experienced project manager with translation and localization skills on the one hand, and knowledge of the background technology on the other.

Publishing

Once the first draft has been completed, it is submitted for review, editing and completion. The final stages of publishing involve proofreading and DTP (Desk-Top Publishing).

Our DTP experts will prepare your content or document in whatever format is required for final use: As a PDF; a Microsoft® Word document, as On-line Help; or HTML. We check that all links are working, that there are no broken links or broken tables; that all references are correct and that the correct images and screenshots are used.
